04 Dec NHVR release draft wine industry code of practice
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has released a draft Wine Industry Code of Practice for stakeholder review.
Developed in partnership with the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) and the Australian Grape and Wine (AGW), the Wine Code has been produced to help boost safety outcomes within the wine industry and serve as a practical guide relevant to any business in the wine industry that operates, uses or works with heavy vehicles.
Regarded as a supplementary Code, the Wine Code is not designed to be exhaustive but aims to focus on activities and hazards that are unique to the grape and wine industry.
The Wine Code is available for feedback until 29 November 2024 here.
