15 May Baltimore Update
Progress is being made to restore cargo traffic at the Port of Baltimore. Four temporary channels have been opened since the bridge’s collapse, with the overarching goal of having traffic back online by the end of May.
The fourth of these temporary channels that provides additional access to commercial traffic, Fort McHenry, will be closed until the 10th of May as workers operate to remove the wreckage from the MS Dail. During this period, the three other temporary channels will provide passage to commercial vessels, until all four channels and eventually, the Port of Baltimore, are reopened.
