06 Dec Grant to Boost Global Growth of Cotton Exports
The Australian government has given a grant of $890,000 to the Australian Cotton Shippers Association and Cotton Australia (ACSA) with the aim of increasing the competitiveness and resiliency of the cotton industry whilst also widening the overall global network of supply chain partners and customers.
According to ACSA Chairman, Matthew Bradd, this latest grant will enable them to fully realise the opportunities created and drive further demand for Australian cotton in new and emerging markets. This will be achieved via targeted engagement, education and communication with supply chain partners and customers to not only help ensure the competitiveness of Australian cotton but to also position it as the fibre-of-choice for an increasing number of supply chain partners.
