18 Mar Oakland International Container Terminal Continues Clearing Backlog
A backlog at Oakland International Container Terminal (OICT) is expected to clear within the next fortnight. This backlog was caused by a combination of various factors, including an electrical outage, low worker productivity due to Super Bowl Sunday and super-post Panamax ships waiting for a berth that can accommodate their size.
There are no signs of congestion at other ports such as Seattle and Long Beach.
