Victoria Government kicks off road maintenance project

The Victorian Government’s $964 million road maintenance blitz kicks off this month, with major repairs to commence on one of the state’s most important freight connections: the Sunraysia Highway in Lascelles. This path links grain and produce farms from around the region to key domestic and international markets.

This road maintenance project aims to support both Victoria’s agricultural sector, which employs more than 260,000 Victorians, as well as the statewide freight industry, which contributes $36 billion per year to the state’s economy and employs more than 260,000 people across the supply chains.
