World Oceans Day 2023

This month the United Nations and countries around the globe commemorate World Oceans Day, a day that celebrates the beauty, power and essential role the ocean plays in all our lives.

Oceans need our protection, they cover 70% of the plant and support all life, in fact, every second breath we take comes from the ocean. It is also home to 80% of the world’s biodiversity and a source of food for billions of people.Despite our reliance on the ocean and the immeasurable benefits it provides, the attention and resources it receives in return is incomparable, bringing us to the theme for this year “Planet Ocean: tides are changing”, a reminder that the time for action is now. Together we can make a difference and save this precious ecosystem for generations to come. Happy World Oceans Day 2023!
